You’ll be passionate about people and passionate about making coffee (and tea of course!). Whilst whipping up that perfect cup you’ll enjoy the brand new environment that has been created for the ZPG Head Office.

Your role:

Welcoming staff and external guests by determining their coffee interests.

Preparing coffee (and other hot) drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, cafe latte, and cappuccino.

Making sure that the coffee bar stays “exciting”.

Running and managing the coffee bar including the maintenance of all inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries etc. for the coffee bar within set budget.

Running a clean, hygienic operations at all times – everything to be put away as soon as possible, nothing to be left lying around the coffee bar, tidiness and cleanliness of the coffee bar is of paramount importance and must be maintained to the highest standard at all times.

Keeping the equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

Finding out about new coffees / products and making proposals to improve the coffee bar.

Providing excellent customer service to all staff and clients, being happy and positive at all times.

Serving lunches to the meeting rooms on request.

Making sure the bin in coffee bar is emptied whenever necessary when it gets full.

Complying with all company policies and procedures that relate to quality, environment and health and safety.

Keeping up to date with what’s going on in the world of Baristas by participating in educational opportunities; reading coffee and food service publications; maintaining personal networks

Your skills:

·  Excellent customer service skills

·  Proven experience as a Barista with good knowledge of coffee

blends and coffee making

·  Reliable and punctual

·  Experienced in food hygiene matters

·  Able to work independently and under pressure

·  Excellent communication skills and command of the English

language
