NOTICE TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF STUDENTS
ATTENDING LIGHTHOUSE ACADEMY
PHOTO RELEASE
The Lighthouse Academy is notifying all parents or guardians of students that it is the practice to release photographs, film, video, audio recordings and other depictions of students who receive awards or special recognition. These materials may be released to publications, newspapers, and other media outlets having circulation/viewers/listeners in Cobb County, the greater Atlanta region and other locations as appropriate. It is also our practice to post these materials on the Lighthouse Academy Web page, www.lhaecumc.com, and to utilize them in advertisements, and other promotional materials.
In addition, photographs, film, video, audio recordings and other depictions of students participating in various school activities or extracurricular events similarly may be released, posted on the web page, used in publications, advertisements and other promotional materials. Students may be identified in these photographs by name, age, grade enrolled and the award, achievement or activity in which the student is participating. Students with disabilities may be included, but they will not be associated with or identified by special education program or label. It is NOT the academy’s practice to release home addresses or telephone numbers to newspapers or to post the same on the web page of the Lighthouse Academy.
