The Dallas Association for Financial Professionals (DAFP) is now accepting proposals for breakout session presentations at our annual Big D Financial Conference, September 20, 2018, at the Marriott, Las Colinas.

Attendance at this annual event increases every year; last year there were approximately 250 attendees. Previous attendees have indicated a desire for opportunities to glean ideas and information from practitioners during this event, so we are looking for interactive, highly-engaging and informative programs. Co-presenters and panel discussions, including corporate practitioners, are strongly encouraged, and given preferencewhen finalizing speaker acceptances. Proposals indicating a “TBD” for co-speaker will be given conditional acceptance pending the naming of a co-speaker.

Breakout sessions will be 50 minutes. Presentations should relate to the Cash,Treasury Management, or Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) fields. The presentation should be educational in nature, and may be a general discussion, tutorial, or case application.Presenters do not have to be members of DAFP. Sessions must be deemed eligible for Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and/or Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) continuing education credits by the National Association for Financial Professionals (AFP).Suggested topics include, but are by no means limited to:
