Poster and Workshop Invitation

CASC National Conference April 15-18, 2015, Hamilton ON

1Theme: Thriving on the Edge, Building the Future on the Backbone of our Past

Building on the imagery of the Niagara Escarpment, which runs the length of our region (and beyond), CASC South-West Ontario invites us all to reflect upon the various thresholds, or edges, upon which we find ourselves, both as individuals as well as a National Association, and where we frequently meet those we serve. Be they in Mental Health, institutional settings, community practice, government relations, or beyond, it is at these various “edges” where meaning and learning is found. It is our region’s hope that through this conference we might honour our association’s rich past, which has brought us to the place where we now stand, and imagine together where the future might take us! We are not just surviving, but thriving!
