THIS COURSE WAS PLANNED BY THE GREATER CINCINNATI ONCOLOGY NURSING CONSORTIUM:

Based on a need to share nursing resources in oncology, several hospitals in the Greater Cincinnati area have joined together to create this educational program.

LOCATION & DIRECTIONS:

The course will be held in Classroom 4 on “A” level at The Christ Hospital.

The Christ Hospital is located at 2139 Auburn Avenue; Cincinnati, Ohio 45219.

Parking is free in the parking garage behind the hospital.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Experienced oncology nurses, including inpatient, outpatient, and home care settings, who are interested in updating their knowledge of current trends in oncology.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

This one day course is designed to enhance nurse’s knowledge of updates in oncology nursing, including updates in Stem Cell Transplant; Parameters for administration of blood/ blood products; New oncology drug update; Surgical Oncology updates and related Pain Management; Updates in Genetic Oncology; Survivorship Care for Oncology Patients; Updates in Distress Screening and Management; Strategies to improve adherence with Oral Chemotherapy / Biotherapy; Oncology Nurses: Renewing Your Spirit.

·  $60.00 - RNs; $ 30.00 - Nursing Students and Retired Nurses

FEE INCLUDES: all handouts, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and contact hours.

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY: Full refund will be provided if cancellation is received one week before the course date. After this date, a 20.00 service charge will be assessed.
