Associated Cheerleading Costs
A big question and concern with all team school sports is, “How much will this cost?” The cost for cheerleading at Crews Middle School is $550. Below is an explanation of the many things the $550 fee covers.
Uniforms
The uniform will be purchased from Varsity Uniforms. The total uniform includes: skirt, shell, briefs, shoes, warm-ups, bag, long sleeved liner t-shirt, 3 pair of socks, hair bow and poms.
Training
The squad will be attending 1-day (all day) camp (through UCA) date to be announced. It will be a Saturday and is mandatory. The camp will be held at Crews Middle School. The camp will cover cheering, dancing, stunting, a half-time routine and includes the cost of music specifically for our routine.
FYI: School practices will be held at Crews Middle School on Monday from 4:15-6:30 and Thursday from 4:15-6:30. We will also conduct morning practices on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings that would begin at 7:15. This schedule is tentative and may change based on availability of facilities.
Athletic Fees
Athletic fees cover several items. These items include but are not limited to end of the season banquet (trophies and athlete’s dinner) cost associated with basketball games such as paying for officials, clock keepers, bookkeeper, the custodial staff and the officer on duty
Costs not included in the cheerleading fee:
Clinic
There is a non-refundable cost of $10.00 for the tryout clinic held on Aug 31, Sept 1, 2, and 3. This fee is paid to the Alton C. Crews Cheer account through MyPaymentsPlus only.
Team Roster T-Shirts
These are approximately $20 depending on what we order. It is not included in the cheerleading fee. I will let you know this as soon as we have a squad and are ready to order.
Snacks/drinks for the squad before/during games are supplied by the cheer parents on a scheduled basis.
Additional Costs
I will try to keep the remainder of any costs to a minimum. However, additional unexpected costs may occur from time to time. You will be notified in advance when these costs are due.
All fees/deposits will be due at the time of uniform order. We have a fitting date of September 11, 2015
