BUR (Burnell) 124 Apple TV (iPad/iPhone)

Make sure device has iOS 7.1 or later installed and that the Bluetooth setting is ON. (To turn Bluetooth on, swipe UP from the bottom of the Home Screen and make sure the Bluetooth symbol is highlighted in white.)

1.  Verify your connection to the BSU Wifi by navigating to www.bridgew.edu. If you are unable to access the page: connect the iPad/iPhone in settings to the BSCUnplugged network and complete the network authentication using a browser (Safari) and your BSU credentials. Confirm Internet connection by navigating again to www.bridgew.edu. If unable to connect, call IT Support via the Tech Help button on the telephone.

2.  Using the control panel, located on teaching station, turn on the display.

3.  When the ON button stops blinking, switch the source to iPad. The AppleTV menu or picture screensaver should now be projecting.

4.  On the bottom of your iPad/iPhone, navigate to the home screen by pressing the Home button.

5.  Once on the home screen, swipe UP slowly from the very bottom bezel portion of the screen; this will drag the Control Center onto the screen.

6.  Select AirPlay at the bottom of this menu and select the name of the room you are currently in.

7.  Switch the Mirroring option so it is green.

8.  The iOS device will now prompt you for a code*. Look up to the projection wall screen, and you will see a four-digit code appear. This code will be different each time. Type this code into your iPad/iPhone and hit OK. Tap the Home button.

Your device will now be connected.

*If the code disappears, hit Cancel and repeat steps 5-6.

When finished with AirPlay, please disconnect your device by returning to the AirPlay menu, turning the green Mirror switch off (white), and selecting iPad or iPhone.
