Awarded for the overall best performance in all Avenues of Service and Club Administration.
Consideration will be given to the following criteria:

VOCATIONAL SERVICE AWARD
The Vocational Service Award to an individual club, or in exceptional circumstances shared by two clubs within the one Rotary year, may be considered and judged with the following criteria.
Addresses a significant Vocational problem or need within the local Community
Involves most or all the club members in personal rather than merely monetary service; the project would be commensurate with the Club’s size and resources.
Enhances the image of Rotary within the Community.
Be capable of emulation by other Rotary clubs if the same circumstances existed within their community.
Be currently active or to reach conclusion during the Rotary year that the award is given.

COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD
The Community Service Award to an individual club, or in exceptional circumstances shared by two clubs within the one Rotary year, may be considered and judged with the following criteria.
Addresses a significant problem or need within the local Community
Involves most or all the club members in personal rather than merely monetary service; the project would be commensurate with the Club’s size and resources.
Enhances the image of Rotary within the Community.
Be capable of emulation by other Rotary clubs if the same circumstances existed within their community.
Be currently active or to reach conclusion during the Rotary year that the award is given.

INTERNATIONAL AWARD
General criteria to be that the Award be made to the Club that most satisfies the specific object of Rotary relating to International Service, namely:
“To encourage and foster the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.”
The general International Program of Rotary sets out some specific matters for “world minded” Rotarians, eg.
Share responsibility for advancing international understanding and goodwill,
Support action directed to improving standards of living for all peoples;
Promote peace between nations.
Any club project that is aimed at one or more of these aspects might be eligible for an award. In assessing the relative merits the following criteria are relevant:
The project meets a demonstrated need in another country that cannot be met otherwise.
The project solution contains a good degree of innovation and is cost effective.
The project involves a significant number of Rotarians, directly and indirectly.
The project promotes the image of Rotary and goodwill generally both locally and in the recipient community.
Management and implementation arrangements are adequate to ensure that the project objectives can be achieved and Rotary resources are used properly.

NEW GENERATIONS AWARD
The project should be addressed to young people 18 years of age and under.
Consideration will be given to the following criteria:
The project involves a significant number of Rotarians and Family of Rotary – directly and indirectly.
The project benefits a significant number of young people and addresses a significant problem or need in the community.
The project meets a demonstrated need.
In what way was the project innovative?
Can the project be emulated by other Clubs?
Were any of the participants disadvantaged?

CLUB EXCELLENCE IN MARKETING & PUBLIC RELATIONS AWARD
To be awarded to a club that demonstrates evidence of a Marketing & Public Relations Plan.
Consideration will be given to the following criteria:
Total media articles – including press, television, radio, website and local newsletters40%
Visual signage – both permanent and temporary for events20%
Internal (club) marketing – through good news, communication, Bulletin20%
General publicity for Rotary20%

BEST CLUB WEBSITE AWARD
The website must be in the name of a District 9810 Club.
Consideration will be given to the following criteria:
Ease of readability and use with a minimum of jargon and unexplained acronyms.
Attractiveness to both Rotarians and the general public, particularly prospective new members or participants in Rotary programs.
Broad and relevant range of content covering current and future events.
Provision for links to other important Rotary websites such as District 9810, Rotary International, Rotary Down Under, Rotary Australia World Community Service and ROMAC.
Provision for interactive email communication to provide rapid information and replies to enquiries.
The website to be regularly updated and maintained.

CLUB BULLETIN AWARD
Bulletins will be judged on effectiveness to stimulate interest and improve attendance, announce the program of the forthcoming meeting, relate highlights of the previous meeting, promote fellowship, contribute to the Rotary education of all members and report news of the Club, its members and the world of Rotary programs.
Consideration will be given to the following criteria:

1Most Improved Bulletin
This is an encouragement award made at the discretion of the District Governor after consultation with the Chair – Marketing Committee. Comparison to the previous years Bulletin will be considered.
2Club Attendance
Based on monthly attendance reports submitted from the months of July to April inclusive, of the relevant Rotary year as received by the D9810 Secretary and Attendance Officer.
3Club Attendance at District Conference
These awards will be made to the Clubs with the highest proportion of calculable members attending the Conference in the categories of Less than or equal to 20 members and secondly membership of Greater Than 20 Members.
The Award will not be given to the Rotary Club or Clubs organising the Conference.
4Club Membership Growth
This award will be calculated using the Club Membership increase from 1 July to 15 May of the relevant Rotary year.
5Bill Thompson Memorial
Awarded in the name of the late Bill Thompson of the Rotary Club of Croydon to a Rotarian, at the discretion of the District Governor, this award is in recognition of significant service to the Australian Rotary Health Research Fund.
6Australian Rotary Health Research Fund Perpetual Trophy
This is awarded to the club with the highest $ donations to the Australian Rotary Health Research Fund for the period 1 July to 15 June of the relevant Rotary year.
7Rotary Foundation Contribution Award
This is awarded to the club with the highest $ donations to The Rotary Foundation for the period 1July to 30 June of the relevant Rotary year.
