Operations Consultant – Myresponsibilities to Dr. Wayne were to provideleadership to his department heads, in business strategy, operations, and personnel management forhis medical practice. I worked with the accountant to improve the accounting system for the aesthetics department for proper control on inventory and services.

  • SOLARMASSE CORPORATION

Operational Consultant - For this start up solar industry corporation. Responsibilities include development of business plan, operational plan, and solicitation of target solar companies for a roll up strategy.

TRINITY YOUTH SERVICES(nonprofit) Colton, CA (2007-2008)

Chief Operations Officer–I was responsible for the management and operations of 35 propertyleases, 1200 employees,spanning fourwestern states, managed senior- and middle-level leadership of four separate nonprofit entities, covering educational and residential services for 450 children, foster care services for 750 children, and mental health care programs for 300 children.

  • Led operational strategies resulting in a million-dollar annual administrative savings including the elimination of senior level positions
  • Worked extensively with board of directors and operational entities in a merger,resulting in a smooth transition to a new entity
  • Successfully completed smooth transition of Triad Family Services,operationally and programmatically, to the oversight of Trinity Youth Services and its board of directors

President/Chief Executive Officer–Responsible forprioritizing programs and streamlining resources to decrease program and operational financial overhead.Developed and lead an achievement-driven, committed staffwith high morale practices and willing attitudes, while providing strong administrative support.

  • Merged a foster care agency with $ 2,000,000 in annual revenue into Triad Family Services
  • Converted cultural, operational, and programmatic procedures to the new agency, while maintaining client count and still meeting Community Care Licensing(CCL, a government regulatory agency) requirements

Executive Director – Developed tough benchmarks incorporating guidelines fromJim Collins in his bookGood to Great that resulted in increasedaccountability from department directors in five Northern California satellite offices. Outcomes included more stable placements for foster care youth.

  • Created better outcomes for foster youth by developing best practices for social workers. This was accomplished by setting monthly audits at all levels of management
  • Worked extensively with attorneys to remove faulty service contracts that saved the agency $600,000 annually

Chief Operations Officer – Worked with personnel to improve accounting systems, human resources systems, policy and procedures, and foster-parent recruitment standards. Set higher standards for all departments through audits and special management meetings.
