Current Fees
-Dog Walks-Group:
(minimum two hours including pick-up/drop-off: 1 dog. Off leashmay include hiking, swimming &group play. Always includes fun!)
- $22 within Duncan/Maples Bay areas,
- $24 Beyond Duncan & immediate areas
- each additional dog-same household: $10
“Walking” service available Monday-Friday, excluding Stat/Bank
holidays.
-Visit: approx. 30 minutes walk/play/feed/water:
- Kittie-Visit ($20 per day)
- Kittie-Visit ($35 per day)
-Overnight Pet/House Sitting:
- 2 weeks and under: $65 per night
- over 2 weeks: $55 per night
- over 30 days: $45 per night
-Backyard Break: approx. 15 minutes
- $16 for 1-2 dogs in Duncan/Maple Bay area
- $17 for 1-2 dogs Beyond Duncan & immediate area
- Each additional dog in same household: $1
-KeyPick-Up/Return:$10 (whereadditional tripsare made by sitter to
pick up and/or return house keys, when
alternate arrangements are not made.)
* Overnight sits include walks, playtime, feed, water, company and affection. House sitting/security needs are addressed and included also (i.e. plants, mail, newspaper, garbage, lights, etc.)
* The above pricing reflects jobs in the Duncan region. For Walks/BYBs/Visits in locations beyond this area, additional charges may apply.
* Fees typically include up to 3 pets. Jobs caring for more than 3petsmay result in additional charges.
* Jobs falling on National Holidays will incur a $10.00 surcharge. These dates include: Easter Sunday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, BC Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day. Christmas Eve & Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve & Day
* Special requests will be considered and priced accordingly.
*All prices are subject to GST.
This agreement will remain valid for future service, with the exception of any agreed on changes in fees, visits and times.
The client hereto agrees as follows:
1)Outbound Hounds and its employees agree to provide services stated in this contract in a reliable and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives any and all claims, suits, demands, actions and the like against Outbound Hounds and its employees, and agrees to indemnity Outbound Hounds for all losses, expenses, personal injuries, deaths, economic losses and the like whether caused by negligence on the part of Outbound Hounds or not and related in any way to the services provided herein.
2)For greater certainty Outbound Hounds and its employees shall not be held responsible for the loss, injury, death, or actions of any pet.
3)For greater certainty Outbound Hounds and its employees shall not be held responsible for any damage to contents/property of home, inside or out, including: furnishings, lawn, plants, etc. due to any act of nature.
4)For greater certainty, client is liable for injury/damagesustained bypet-care provider and/orher property,by client's pet.
5)The client understands that all pets (where appropriate) must have a veterinarian and provide paperwork demonstrating rabies, bordetella and all relevant vaccinations/boosters are up-to-date.
6)Dogs may be walked on or off-leash in suitable areas, unless specifically advised otherwise, by pet owner.
7)Dogs may or may not be walked in groups unless specified otherwise.
8)Dogs may be transported in ‘walker/sitters’ vehicle, unless specified otherwise.
9)Outbound Hounds does not diagnose or make therapy decisions, nor does it offer veterinary services. Any veterinary/medical concerns will be referred to a veterinarian.
10)As a dog-walking/sitting service, Outbound Hounds is not responsible for training dogs/puppies. These issues must be directed to an appropriate trainer.
11)Outbound Hounds does not accept aggressive animals.
12)Outbound Hounds will not work with animals who are ill or those with uncontrolled medical conditions.
13)Outbound Hounds will not walk unruly or untrained dogs,those that choke themselves on their leashes or dogs in heat.
14)Outbound Hounds will not accept time specific calls as we cannot guarantee specific times accurately. A 2/3 hour window is acceptable.
15)Priority is given to pre-booked jobs. To help ensure we are available to accommodate your pet care needs, please allow 24 hrs. notice for dog walks / backyard break appointments.
16)Client is responsible for making arrangements for snow removal. Visits may not be made in snow covered driveways, and/or walkways, due to safety concerns.
17)Outbound Hounds will not be responsible for keys the client has asked to be mailed, keys that are left on the client’s property, or for homes that are purposefully left unlocked by owner.
18)Office hours (phone calls) fall between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Pet care services may be provided beyond this time period, as appropriate.
19)Outbound Hounds reserves the right to deny service or terminate service because of safety concerns, financial concerns, or inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.
20)Outbound Hounds reserves the right to take pet (s) to vet if necessary. Client is responsible for all applicable charges.
21)Outbound Hounds requires you to have a responsible party to take care of your pet (s) in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as illness or death to either pet sitter or self and in the event of inclement weather or a natural disaster. It is best your emergency contact is a neighbour so they can reach your home. Outbound Hounds is not responsible for pet (s) in these circumstances.
22)Payment for dog walking/backyard break services is to monthly invoice, where regular jobs are scheduled. Upon completion of service otherwise.
23)Payment for sitting jobs is expected before services are rendered. In the event of additional unforeseen visits or other costs (such as food, supplies, or vet fees), payment is expected within 3 days of the completion of services or a late charge of $20 will be applied.
24)Dog walk/backyard break cancellations must be received 24hrsprior to scheduled service,or the regular cost of the job will apply
25)Upon commencement of pet sitting jobs, refunds will not be offered should the job end early for any reason.
26)Pet sitting jobs require a non-refundable security deposit of 50% of the total cost of services due, upon booking.
