Association Scholarship

The Central Wisconsin Chesemakers and Buttermakers Association have established an endowment fund through the Marshfield Area Community Foundation. To be eligibleone scholarship will be awarded to a student where the applicant must be a member of a cheese or butter manufacturing plant, enrolled full-time in a program of study toward any degree with an emphasis given to students pursuing a degree in dairy science, food science or a related degree.The second scholarship will be awarded to a student from a member company supplying equipment, ingredients, services, etc. who is enrolled full-time in a program of study toward any degree with an emphasis given to students pursuing a degree in dairy science, food science, or related degree. Financial need will be considered in awarding the scholarship. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage educational growth. The applicant cannot receive this scholarship for more than two (2) consecutive years

In 2013 two $500 Scholarships will be awarded.

Scholarship Rules

  1. Application must comply with the admission requirements for a full-time student at an accredited university, technical school pursuing any degree with an emphasis given to students pursuing a degree in dairy science, food science or a related degree.

  3. Two letters of reference (see below)
  4. Enclose a recent photo to be usedfor recognition at the MACF Scholarship Award Ceremony.
  5. Mail the application by March 31, 2013 to:

Recipient must be planning to enroll in the fall semester of 2013. Before the actual scholarship check will be awarded, the recipient must submit proof of his/her enrollment to the college of their choice. Awards are not retroactive and may not be credited to semesters already completed.
