Non-Technical Short Summary of the Project

In the box below, give a short description of the Project Application being proposed (maximum 50/60 words).

Important:

Applicants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the Guidance Notes, particularly the Project Selection Criteria, to ensure proper completion of this application form.

Provide a description of the Project being submitted for consideration.

Applicants must give a detailed description of the innovative project highlighting the improvements that have been achieved or would be achieved in the relevant sector through the application of this product. Please indicate whether the project submitted is a new concept or a variation of an existing idea.

Describe how the Project submitted has made or would make an impact in processes or simply a minor adjustment. Indicate whether the innovative project would lead to more potential uses/applications.

Applicability of the Project

As indicated in the Guidance Notes kindly state:

• whether the applicability of the Innovation is cost-effective to implement
• whether the innovation can be applied to other areas
• whether the innovation is specific to one country or if it can be applied internationally
• whether the innovation leads to changes in how an industrial process is carried out

Describe whether the project constitutes an inventive step.

Other Considerations

In this section, the applicant must indicate:

• if the development of the Innovation leads to better internal processes (teambuilding / problem solving)
• if the development approach can be applied to similar problems/opportunities

Intellectual Property Rights

In this Section applicants should provide information on any Intellectual Property Rights that have been protected or are in the process of obtaining protection in relation to the project contained in the submission.

Development Plan

In this section, the applicant should describe the plans for taking their project a step further. Depending on the current stage of the project, the development plan mayvary from developing the project idea into a tangible one; commercialising the conceptor its internationalisation.

The Development Plan should also include time frames and approximate costs.

Declaration

I declare that this is an original project which has been developed within the last two years.

I declare that this project / idea is my original work; or of the project team;or company highlighted in this application form. Moreover, I declare that my/our current status as at to-date is as highlighted above.

I declare that the entries and the details in the Application Form and any other annexes enclosed are, to the best of my knowledge and belief, correct.

I can also confirm that I am not aware of any reason why this new idea / project may not proceed or be delayed other than any reasons declared and the commitment can be made within the timescales indicated in Development Plan submitted.

I also declare that this project / idea or parts of the project / idea has not already received an award in the past, or is currently under consideration for other awards. Moreover, I also declare that this project is not currently or has been presented for consideration under any other funding / community scheme.

I declare that in the event that I utilized resources available within the ambit of my employment, then participation in the awards, in my name, would be with the knowledge of the entity/organization of my employment.

I understand that if the information included in the Application Form is found to be not factually correct, the application may be rejected.
