Came to Vienna at the age of 12 where German became his third native language.
Graduated 1976 summa cum laude from Federal Highschool IX, Wasagasse, Vienna with a concentration in Science and Latin.
Studies in Business and Public Administration at the University of St. Gallen (HSG); degrees: 1981: lic. oec. (major: Finance & Accounting); 1982: lic.rer.publ. (major: Swiss Diplomatic Service); and 1985: Dr.oec. (summa cum laude).
1989-1994 Managing Partner and subsequently Chief Executive of a Swiss Holding Company (CCC Corporate Control Consultants Holding AG).
Subsequently independent Consultant of Executives and Institutions in business, politics and science.
1986-1990: Lecturer at the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
1991-2009: Annual appointments as Visiting Professor, thereafter Extraordinary Professor of Management at the University Marii Curie-Sklodowskiej in Lublin (UMCS).
Since 2003: Owner and President of BPH Breakthrough Projects Holding AG in Heerbrugg, Switzerland,a privately held corporation focusing on Strategic Consulting, Corporate Finance and Private Equity, Enterprise and Project Development and on Transactions in the areas of Management, Banking and Finance for Domestic and Foreign Individuals and Corporate Entities. Intermediary, often mandated with execution, in major business transactions.
