Item No 1: New Committee to be formed
- Ms Ujjwala Joshi proposed on behalf of all the board members to include Ms TejaswiniShrikhande, Ms RekhaThorat & Mr SuhasKapse as board members of AMHI instead of
Mr Gurunath Lad, Mr Sanjay Ughade & Mr AmolPatkar
Rest of the committee remains the same.
- All the members agreed the proposal.
Item No 2: Organization of next CME-who will take the lead ?
- Ms.Ujjwala Joshi, Ms.RekhaThoratMs.Tejaswini asked if any member is interested to conduct the next CME, may be out of Mumbai.
- Mr SuhasKapse from SaifeeHospital,Mumbai& Mr Kanhere from Nagpur showed interest in conducting next CME
- All the members proposed to take the next meeting nearby Mumbai i.e. Pune or Nasik
- Venue of the next meeting to be decided in the next meeting of the committee members
Item No 3 : Topic / Theme of the next CME
- UmaRaut proposed to take review of all topics and focus only on one topic during CME
- KalpanaMahadik proposed topic of processing with advance techniques & debate session
- ReetaGurnani insisted to include trouble shooting
- Mr Phadtare concurred with Ms. ReetaGurnani suggesting to invite trouble shooting topics from members via an e mail
- Ms TejaswiniShrikhandefurther opined that in addition to processing, sStandardization of fixation should be an activity of AMHI. A team of AMHI should be fomed to monitor the activity.
Item No 4: Non TMC - AMHI members who wish to do poster & oral presentations
- Ms RekhaThorat proposed to invite posters in addition to oral presentations from members for the next CME.
- All the members concurred with the above proposal & will be implemented for the next CME
Item No 5: AMHI website & face book page to be constructed & implemented
- Mr MahadevPadte& Mr Pratik are deputed to develop AMHI website &facebook page
- All the members agreed that creation of website will enable more registrations of members.
Item No 6: Teaching activity / Education by AMHI
- Ms Joshi from SNDT College asked about the plans of teaching activity by AMHI
- Ms Ujjwala Joshi & Ms ManishaKulkarni proposed to give names of those who are interested in teaching.
Item No 7: Settting up of a laboratory by AMHI group
- Ms JyotiYadavMr Mahadev Padte suggested to conduct the separate EQUAS by AMHI, however Ms ReetaGurnani pointed out that all of us would need the permission from the respective institution to conduct EQUAS
- Mr SuhasKapse & Ms TejaswiniShrkhande too felt to set up a separate laboratory of AMHI on a rental basis.
- Members will consider this proposal in near future after getting sufficient funding
Item No 6: Fund raising
- Mr SuhasKapse raised the issue of sponsorship and funds for all the activities of AMHI
- Ms TejaswiniShrikhande suggested to involve & collaborate Pathensitu to raise funds
Item no 7: Publication of next Souvenir
- Ms ManishaKulkarni& Ms RekhaThorat appealed all the members to write articles, send microphotographs, Quiz or any other interesting material to be published.
Meeting concluded with vote of thanks to all the members by Ms Ujjwala Joshi & Ms ManishaKulkarni for the overhelming response & active participation for the first CME & big hand for Ms Tejaswini Shrikhande for her initiative to conduct the CME at Asian Cancer Institute.
