FAMOUS GEORGIAN

BOTTLE BUDDIES

Dear Researcher,

Georgia has been the home of many famous names. The beginnings of Georgia found great leaders such as James Oglethorpe, authors named Margaret Mitchell, actors, singers such as Otis Redding, and the list goes on.

What interests you~maybe writing poetry or novels, singing, athletics, being a great leader? Follow the checklist below to complete your project!

□Choose a famous Georgian from the list provided that follows your interest.

□Research your chosen famous Georgian.

□Fill out the attached information sheet about your Georgian.

□Make a likeness of your Georgian utilizing a 16.9 fl oz. water/soda bottle. Please be sure the bottle is empty and clean before completing your bottle buddy.

□The bottle can be decorated with an actual picture of the famous Georgian’s face attached to the top of the bottle by the threads, a balloon, styrofoam ball, or a drawing. You can add yarn for hair, eyebrows, and mustache. The bottom of the bottles can be just plain, or you can add shoes/feet.

□Be Creative!
