CADD II
Assignment #20
SLIDE SHOWS
Objective:
The student will create a slide show with a minimum of 10 slides.
Assignment:
Part 1
On graph paper or engineering paper make a sketch of each of the slides. Include the file name of the slide (XXXXXXX.SLD) and the drawing (WBLOCK) file name (XXXXXXX.DWG) of the slide on each sketch.
Use layers, colors, solids, hatching, and linetypes to enhance the slides.
Before constructing the assignment on the computer submit all sketches of the slides for approval. No assignment will be accepted if the preliminary sketches and are not signed by the instructor.
Instructor's signature: ______
On Engineering Paper write a script file to execute the slide show. Be sure to include the file name of the script file.
File Name: ______
Add a 5 second delay (5000 milliseconds) at the end of the slide show script file before the rscript command.
Add a delay between each slide to allow time for viewing if necessary (optional)
Part 2
Construct each drawing and make a slide of each step as it is completed.
(optional) Make a BLOCK of each drawing before you make the slide. WBLOCK each block to a drawing file so that if changes are needed you can edit the drawing and make a new slide. You cannot draw or add anything to a slide, but must make the changes to the drawing and create a new slide. You can use the same slide file name to override the old slide. (Copy these .DWG files to your grading disk)
Evaluation:
Save your Slide Show Script file, your WBLOCK drawing files, and your SLIDE files on your BACK-UP disk and your ASSIGNMENTS TO BE GRADED disk.
Refer to the PROJECT EVALUATION handout for the required items to be turned in for evaluation.
