3. Introduction of new materials
A) Ask students “Is this …?,”showing things.- ALT
Students answer either “Yes, it is.” or “No, it’s not.”
B) Show a new thing, saying “What’s this?”- ALT
C) Explanation of the grammar while teaching her how to answer
“It’s a ….”- Akii
D) Quiz “What’s this?”- ALT
4. Introduction of new words on p.32
A) Students guess each pronunciation, and ALT pronounces
the correct pronunciation .- ALT
B) Checking meanings + comments- Akii
5. Understanding p.32-33-Akii
A) Listening comprehension with CD with textbook open
B) T or F in Japanese
C) Q&A in Japanese
D) Check of meaning
6. Reading practice
