Deer Creek Archery Team Guidelines and Reward Structure
Guidelines and Procedures
-To join the competitive team, archers must be invited by the owners or managers of the Deer Creek Archery staff, shoot for them, and then be accepted onto the team by a majority vote from the team managers and store owners.
-Team members must remain active be earning a certain number of points each year and continuing to compete.
-Team members must remember to conduct themselves in a positive and professional manner. Deer Creek Archery reserves the right to remove an archer from the team for inactivity or conduct unbecoming of the Deer Creek Archery team.
-There will be a youth and adult team, and the team is co-ed.
-Archers must have their own bow to join the team.
-All archers who are on the team must attend the competitions that DCA is hosting.
-Archers on the team need to practice with the team at least once per month.
-Archers must attend at least 4 sanctioned competitions per year to remain active on the team.
Why join the Deer Creek Archery Team?
-Archers on the team have access to free coaching and instruction from USA-Archery certified instructors.
-Archers on our team do not pay for participation on the team, but they do receive incentives for participation and good performance on the team.
-Archers on the team get tune-up service on their gear, as well as consultation on their gear, as needed.
-Archers on the team get free range time during team practice times.
-All archers on the team will have their picture uploaded on our website with their bow, arrow, gear build.
Reward Structure
-DCA Team Archers receive points for their participation and performance on the team.
-Archers must earn a minimum of 15 points per year to stay on the team.
-Points are earned as follows:
- 0.5 Points per team practice
- 1 point for competing in a tournament (multi-day tournaments earn 1 point per day)
- 1 point for finishing in the top 50% of your tournament bracket
- 2 point for finishing in the top 30% of your tournament bracket
- 3point for finishing in the top 10% of your tournament bracket
- 4point for finishing in 3rd place
- 6point for finishing in 2rd place
- 8 points for finishing in 1rd place
- 1 point for volunteering on the indoor or outdoor range
- 3 points for earning a teaching or coaching certification from USA Archery
-After earning your points, the DCA team will track it for you in their computer system. Your rewards will be active as soon as they are earned.
-The rewards structure is as follows:

25 / All above, plus we pay one extra registration fee
30 / All above, plus 1/2 dozen arrows free
35 / All above, plus another 1/2 dozen arrows free
40 / All above, plus free bow case
45 / All above, plus $300 gear at cost
50 / All above, plus 50% off a release
55 / All above, plus one additional registration fee is covered
60 / All above, plus one bow at cost
65 / All above- keep going!
70 / All above, plus one hinting or rear target stabilizer bar free
75 / All above, plus one extra registration fee is covered
80 / All above, plus one STIXX stabilizer bar of any length
85 / All above- keep going!
90 / All above, plus one sight at cost.
95 / All above- keep going!
100+ / All above, plus one free bow of your choice
