This guide is designed to help you jumpstart your business with Arbonne. Please read and complete this workbook.

2 Set Up a Getting Started Meeting with Your Sponsor and/or Up-line

What you can expect at this meeting is for you and your sponsor and/or up-line to review your why, set your goals, and create your action plan. You will learn what to do in your first three months to set the course for your success. This meeting will give you the tracks you need to run on!

To do: Pick a time within the next 48 hours to meet with your sponsor/up-line.

3 Register as a New Consultant, Place Your First Order and Schedule Your Activity

a. Be a product of the product. Support your own business by using your own products. A large portion of your credibility will result from doing so and you will come from a place of integrity. The more you believe in your products the more you will talk about them and the more your whole network will use and recommend them too.

b. Get your business set up correctly with the right products to support your activity; group presentations and personal consultations. Your sponsor/up-line will help you determine your starting order.


Step #1: Develop Your Contact List

This is a dynamic tool, it will grow over time as you meet new people and the people in your life get acquainted with Arbonne. It is important to begin with 100 names in your contact list because we never know who will and who will not be interested in hearing about or becoming involved with Arbonne. Be sure not to pre-judge! You know more people than you think!

Experience has shown, from your 100 Name List you will meet people that YOUR contacts know that will be your future team members. Begin with the contacts you have in your cell phone, Facebook page and email lists. Utilize the memory jogger on the next two pages to help remind you of all of the people you know or are acquainted with. From this list you will begin to build your team of Retail Clients, Preferred Clients and Consultants. (B=Business builder, H=hostess, I=Invite)

Understanding Your “Why” and Developing Your Business Plan

Knowing what you want, when you want it, and why you want it, makes all the difference in your business so be sure to take the time to fill out this section.

Description / Fill in Your Goal
Why? / Why are you doing this business?
If your why is greater than your discomfort, you will succeed. Your why is your motivation for accomplishment. Determining your why is foundational in your business, so be sure to take the time to understand what motivates you. Is it freedom? Is it the ability to determine your own hours, to have more time for family and friends, to define your own income or to fire your boss? Is your why the desire to be recognized for accomplishment, to have a purpose, to make a difference or to grow personally?
Make your why as specific as possible and share it with your sponsor.

What is our System for Success?

It is a complete system for building a successful and sustainable Arbonne business. It is based on holding six or more group presentations in your start and in each subsequent month, along with, personal consultations, and purposeful business appointments.

What Is a System? A system is a method to meet people, present to those people, and teach new people to do the same.

The Benefits of Group Presentations

Learn the Presentation. Experience has shown that we learn best through spaced repetition. By having six presentations within thirty days, you will be comfortable and confident with presenting the Arbonne story.

Develop New Contacts. Through group presentations you will develop and maintain a constant stream of new contacts, getting you in front of 30-50 people consistently each month. While doing group presentations, you are meeting new people who have gathered to learn about Arbonne. By utilizing our hosting program, you will continue to schedule new groups which will introduce you to new potential clients and business partners.

Earn While You Learn!

Last but not least, you will be earning as you are learning. For example, if you average $500 per presentation in qualified volume; you will earn anywhere from $500 to $1000 in your start month.

Some people prefer to meet one-on-one so take this opportunity to tell the Arbonne story. However, one-on-one’s do not replace group presentations because they do not provide a way to meet new people. A successful one-on-one can lead to a group presentation or a Purposeful Business Appointment.

Purposeful Business Appointment

A Purposeful Business Appointment (a.k.a .a coffee appointment) is an appointment that results from asking someone to meet with you to learn about the Arbonne Opportunity. You will schedule these from your contact list and people you meet at your group presentations. The coffee appointment is tailored to the interests and needs of the person with whom you are meeting. Your sponsor/upline will help you with these as you get started.

What to Expect From Your Sponsor within the System

Your sponsor will help you with your presentations in your start month. This is your opportunity to learn the presentation and for the people you know to hear all about Arbonne from your sponsor/upline. Because we learn this business by observing and participating, during these presentations you will learn as your sponsor/ upline demonstrates how to identify potential Consultants (business partners), how to book Group Presentations, how to schedule, Personal Consultations and Purposeful Business Appointments and how to sell products. Your sponsor/ upline will also help you learn to place orders, sponsor Preferred Clients and Consultants and register new Clients online as well as learning how to follow-up and schedule personal consultations and purposeful business appointments.
