- It was decide to have a stall at Bardney Gala on August 30th 2010. This would be to advertise and raise money for The Group. Possibility of Metal detector Treasure Hunt-Kev Ruane, Find the Treasure on a map of Bardney-Pat Rennie. These would be manned on a rota basis, to be discussed at the next meeting. - An article for the Parish News asking for artefacts, information, etc. was penned at the meeting by the chairperson and secretary for inclusion in the July edition.
- Catherine Wilson’s email regarding the Jews Court Trust and Lottery Funding for a ‘Your Heritage’ grant was discussed at length. It was decided that there would be lots of work and costs-paperwork, hours and possibly equipment. We would have to submit full audited accounts. Another reason for not accepting this straight away was that The Group had not been established for a long enough period of time (minimum one year). After much deliberating it was decided to speak to Catherine to ask questions about the project that all members thought needed answering before a final decision is made. Catherine is to be contacted and a meeting to be arranged. An email would be sent to see if anyone would like to attend the meeting.
