No further athlete apps received, u21 squad will be disbanded
after Inverclyde.
The u21 National Athletes will continue on the Excel programme
and others will be integrated into volunteering with younger
Squads/umpiring/coach development.
U21 asst Rachel Nelson invited to join u17 squad as asst coach
U21 Squad season 13/14 will be considered in due course

Sub committee requirements:
Web/Facebook – Has web been updated with Sweden report/Pics and squad coord Advert?
Marketing/Grants –Grants to apply for one squad grant, target £500. Grants need to be aware that failure to respond to emails sent back from Grant agencies is preventing squad coordinator applying
Technical coaching – Need to develop this to prevent trainee/asst coaches entering District programme if they are not ready, thus urgently need to put a programme in place to allow development elsewhere prior to working with District squads ( Ideally to be progressed in time for applications for next seasons district squads). Any courses run need to make sure dates/venues etc are not changed thus meaning coaches miss out. If using District athletes, Squad coordinator to be advised.
NDO – Reply awaited re Commonwealth arena as squad training venue
NDO/Lorna Cameron – Reply awaited re how to manage athlete time/meeting with club and junior coaches re burn out
