Thank you for your participation in the inaugural 2016 Granville County’sOutstanding Little Miss Pageant; an official preliminary to North Carolina’s Outstanding Little Miss Pageant. All proceeds benefit Families Living Violence Free, Granville County’s Domestic Violence Center.

Interviews start at 10:00 am (come ready for interview)

Doors will open at 12:30pm ***Pageant will starts at 1:00pm***

Tickets $10.00 (sold at the door - $8 advanced purchase)

Visiting queensFREE with a donation of a box of individually wrapped snacks, case of water, juice or soft drinks to be used for clients in crisis; Chaperones must pay to enter.

(Age determined as of the day of the pageant)

Little Miss: 4 to 6 years (GCOLM reserves the right to split the group for a Petite division)

Junior Miss: 7 to 8 years

Preteen Miss: 9 to 10 years

Young Miss:11 to 12 years

Miss: 13 to 15 years

Mini-Majestic - Contestant from 3 yrs to 8 yrs with the highest combined score including optionals

Majestic - Contestant from 9 yrs to 15 yrs with the highest combined score including optionals

PHASES OF COMPETITION

Gown: Required for all. Please keep in mind that this is NOT a glitz pageant, keep simple – Think Flower Girl.

Fitness: Required for all. Attire will consist of the GCOLM t-shirt, white bottom (shorts, pants, skirts) and white tennis shoes. T-shirts will be given at check-in prior to pageant.

Private Interview: Required for all. Attire should be “OFF THE RACK” that you would wear to do a school presentation. Questions will come from the contestant questionnaire; 3 minutes, standing.

Onstage Question:Required for all age divisions; will be asked in gown.

Talent:OPTIONALfor division title, REQUIRED for a Majestic and Mini-Majestic. Talent time is 2 minutes. (Talent scores not added into division scores.)The stage is small; Keep it tight. Bring 2 CDs to the pageant labeled with your name and division.

Photogenic:OPTIONALfor division title,REQUIRED for a Majestic and Mini-Majestic.

Most Beautiful: OPTIONALfor division title, REQUIRED for a Majestic and Mini-Majestic.

Best Wardrobe:OPTIONALfor division title, REQUIRED for a Majestic and Mini-Majestic.

DIVISION WINNERS: Division winner will receive an official preliminary crown, sash and trophy.

MINI-MAJESTIC: The contestant with the highest combined scores (including ALL optionals) in Little and Junior will receive an official preliminary crown, sash and trophy.

MAJESTIC: The contestant with the highest combined scores (including ALL optionals) in Preteen, Young and Miss will receive an official preliminary crown, sash and trophy.

OVERALL PHOTOGENIC AWARD: Contestant the highest photogenic score - Trophy

COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD:One Community Service Award given for each age divisions

OVERALL TALENT AWARD: Contestant with the highest talent score – Trophy and Tiara

OVERALL INTERVIEW AWARD: Contestant with the highest interview score – Trophy and Tiara

OVERALL MOST BEAUTIFUL: Judged during gown – Trophy and Tiara

ALL CONTESTANTS RECEIVE $200 off of the NCOLM State fees. The 2016 NCOLM state pageant will be held July 14th – 16th, 2016 at the new Henderson Performing Arts Center. Additional Information can be found at

* * * * REGAL DIVISION * * * *

Do you currently have a local OLM title but want more practice (no crown or sash will be awarded for this division)? You can get that practice at Granville County’s Outstanding Little Miss. Enter the Regal Division for a donation of a gift card to Walmart, Food Lion, McDonalds, Dominos, Wendy’s, Wilco-Hess, Shell gas or an item/items that can be used at a silent auction (Bring to the pageant when you come).Moms will need to purchase a ticket. Ifthere are 10 entries in the Regal Division, the Regal contestants (one in Little-Junior; one in Preteen-Miss) with the highest score will win their Required Entry Fees ($450 value) paid to the state NCOLM pageant in July. Please Note: You will still represent your local title at NCOLM State pageant. State Regal where it ask for division.

Community Service Award

This is an optional award to encourage and reward young women who donate their time and talents to community service, acts of kindness, and service to others. Entries may be in the form of an essay (no more than 200 words) or can be an illustration. Essays describe community service projects or act of kindness they have performed for someone else. Entry must be labeled with the contestant’s name and Community service title.Mail Community Service essay/illustration in with paperwork

The optional talent competition provides additional opportunity for our contestants to be showcased. This phase of competition is REQUIRED to be eligible for Majestic titles.
