Dear Royal Parents, Families, and Supporters,
It is with great excitement that I send this letter to you because it serves as a means to celebrate the accomplishments of your scholar’s great academic, athletic, and leadership, achievements over the 2017 - 2018 school year. We have a tradition at Carter G. Woodson Academy to recognize our scholars significant achievements throughout the year by hosting in-school events to celebrate their accomplishments. This year, we want to raise the bar and recognize them at our annual African American Achievement Awards.
We need your help. This year, in order to accomplish the aforementioned, we will have and implement a Scholar Highlight Advertisement Handbook. This book will be used to feature the notable achievements of your exceptional scholar. For example, you can place an ad on his behalf recognizing his GPA, Honor Roll, Sports and Academic Awards, ACT score, Acceptance Letter to college, a congratulatory salute on his graduation and to his future success (shout out), City, State, and National Qualifications and Awards, personal achievements, and/or anything positive you want to showcase about your scholar.
In order to accomplish this feat, we are asking that each scholar at CGWA sell as many ads as he can to help us reach our fundraising goal. If each scholar can sell one full page, we would be victorious in our fundraising endeavors.
However, we know that this is a stretch and a burden to some of our scholar's personal economic situations. Therefore, we would be pleased with each scholar selling at least a ¼ page ad that cost-$25. In the event that you cannot afford $25, we would be more than blessed to receive a one-time $10.00 contribution to our Scholars Achievement Highlight Handbook. Below is a breakdown of our ads for purchase to be displayed in the Scholar Achievement Highlight Handbook for your review. Thank you and we greatly appreciate your support and generosity.

You can place all orders on the attached order form. It is required that all money for ads be turned in to our Secretary Mrs. Lisa McNary at CGWA in the form of cash or check. All checks should be made out to the Carter G. Woodson Academy. The memo can be addressed to the AAAA show.
All information that you would like to be placed in your ad can be emailed to the Carter G. Woodson Public Relations Committee at . Please include your name and your scholar, as well as the information about the scholar you want in your ad. We appreciate your support and efforts.
