2. / Had trouble finding informed families local offer page from the homepage. Some confusion with whether I should look for SEND, Local Offer or Informed Families.
3. / The local offer was presented by the government as a form of service development; in Redbridge it is being used as a tactic to introduce cuts
4. / i don't use it
5. / There needs to be disclosure to parents of children with special needs very little for under 5 ' s and the waiting list for 5 and over activities are 2 yrs min ,need social work refferal and only available is 4 days a year funding .Be honest with parents .
6. / My sons school (out of Borough) is not listed and should be for example

10) Do you have any other comments about the website? |
# / Response1. / test test test!!!!
2. / Local offer is no different to what we had before. The stuff about mainstreams is all very well, what they say they do, the reality is very different
3. / EHC plan should be clearly explained to parents, carers and professionals, as some Senco's do not know what or how long will it take and who does it affect. Parents should be contacted and informed that the EHC plan is taking place.
Social Services should be notified as well.
4. / The website can only be part of the answer. Everyone knows that the families of young people with SEND encounter serious challenges in identifying and accessing services. The website does little or nothing to remedy the situation, we have had FIND locally for many years, at least no one pretended that because it existed it meant that services were better. The local offer is a cruel political deception trick, at national level politicians and civil servants think they've achieved something but families of young people with SEND locally know better
5. / Thanks a lot for updating your website on a regular basis, I use it nearly everyday to find information for SEN children and parents. I think it is should be a user friendly website as not everyone is used to browse and English is not their first language.
Thanks a lot to Sherri for guiding me through how to look for information.
6. / Na
7. / As a SEND parent living in Redbridge I have no choice but to use the website on occasion but I avoid using it whenever possible as it is ridiculously difficult to find what you want and/or filter the information. It doesn't tell us anything we didn't already know pre Sept 14.
8. / Being frank and honest with parent of kids with special needs that the services are over subscribed ,huge waiting list ,social work refferal is required and only 4 days a year funding is available, to children who need for social interaction with peers is crucial to their development.
9. / This is not a website per se its a local offer that must make our lives easier. Its hard to know what you don't know and to find personalised services which we need more of especially when our children and families do not fit into what's on offer. How will information about the local offer and feedback be received and how will that inform commissioning?
10. / It would be nice if you could inform your crowd when the next update would be so we can check it out and keep upto date
11. / No
12. / it looks like it will be useful when more information is there. it's a shame there doesn't seem to be a way to personalise it, so it displays most relevant areas first eg; by age of child, or by service required (education, social care etc)
13. / no
14. / I have found the website a very useful place to find the relevant information needed for specific queries thank you
