Fund Raising Update

Just a quick update on recent events we have held:

Bags2school raised £188.50

We had a great response to this & had almost 90 bags of clothing etc. to be weighed!

Our next Bags2school date is in October (more details nearer the time). Thanks to Roz Collier for organizing this. Thank you to all who denoted bags.

First Aid Evening raised £115.00

We would like to say a huge Thank you to Dave Bottle for giving up his time & providing an excellent evening of first aid training. The evening was not only informative but great fun & thoroughly enjoyed by all those who attended.

As this event was such a success, a similar evening will take place later in the year. We are certain that places will be in great demand so be sure to get your name down quickly. Our thanks also go to Louise & James Freeman at The Green Man, for hosting this event & providing some delicious food.

80’s Night Raised £443.35

This was a fantastic evening & not only did everyone dig out those 80’s clothes from the back of their wardrobes, but the Village Hall was decked out with balloons & giant Rubik Cubes! To add even more authenticity cheese & pineapple on sticks, twiglets & cocktails were served!

Thank you to Jess Bottle & Nina Banks for taking us all back to our younger days!

Dec 7th Xmas Fayre

This term’s Fund Raising profits will go towards some of the items on the school’s wish list:

* Outside play equipment for Star Class

* PE equipment for the whole school

* Kiln for pottery

* Lighting system for performances in the school hall

* Touch screen for school hall
