NOTICE TO LOCAL AGENCIES AND NONPROFIT AFFORDABLE HOUSING SPONSORS

In compliance with sections 11011.1 (b) (2) (C) and (b) (2) (D) of the Government Code of the State of California, the DGS hereby posts surplus state properties available for local agency use or affordable housing projects. The opportunity to become a priority buyer will be offered for ninety (90) days from the posting date of this notice. Priority buyers are local agencies or “nonprofit affordable housing sponsors”. Government Code defines a nonprofit affordable housing sponsor as (i.) a nonprofit corporation incorporated pursuant to Division 2 (commencing with Section 5000) of Title 1 of the Corporations Code; (ii.) a cooperative housing corporation which is a stock cooperative, as defined by Section 11003.2 of the Business and Professions Code; or (iii.) a limited-dividend housing corporation.
