JohnsonCountyCommunity College
20th Annual Indoor League (November 4, 11, 18, 25 & December 2, 9)
What is it? JohnsonCountyCommunity College’s winter indoor league is set up to help young baseball players improve their skills during the cold, Kansas winters. Live pitching and hitting will help players see as game-like competition as possible to help them prepare for the upcoming season. Games will take place in a batting cage with a live catcher, hitter, and pitcher. Different areas of the cage will be designated for singles and homeruns. Games will be as game like as possible except for base running and defense. What better way to improve your skills then to play a simulated game in an indoor cage against some of the best players in the Kansas City Area. Pitchers can fine tune their mechanics and improve their arm strength by throwing year round. Hitters can work on their techniques while developing a better eye seeing opposing live pitching. League will be made up of a High School Division, 7th – 8th grade division, 5th – 6th grade division, and a 4th grade division will be created if there is enough interest. Divisions will be based on grade level player is currently in. Teams MUST have at least 6 players and make payment before November 1stto guarantee a spot. League is filling up QUICK so register NOW.
