THE CRITICAL ROLE OF PSYC 4999 IN THE PROGRAM CURRICULUM:

Welcome to the Senior Evaluation Seminar and congratulations on your upcoming graduation! This course has a very important role and is intended to be of mutual benefit to students and to the psychology program at CSU. All graduating seniors in the program are required to register for and satisfactorily complete PSYC4999 Senior Evaluation Seminar. This course carries ZERO credit hours so it does not add to tuition and fees for students taking other courses at the same time; however the course is REQUIRED FOR GRADUATION. Students who do not properly enroll or complete course requirements at a satisfactory level will have their graduation delayed until the requirement is met.

The purpose of the course is twofold: The first purpose is to provide valuable information to student participants that will be beneficial in job searches and/or graduate school applications post-graduation. The second purpose is to provide useful evaluative data to support program improvement for the B.S. in Psychology and Human Services. This is one of your final experiences as an undergrad at Clayton State, and your faculty all ask that you approach it responsibly and complete all of the requirements to the very best of your ability.
