For and on behalf of the President of India “Open Tenders” in sealed covers in prescribed tender forms are invited from experienced & bonafide contractors for “Hiring of one non AC motor vehicle (Bolero/ Tata Sumo or Similar) along with driver for use of Inspector RPF/Post/Kishanganj for two(02) years i.e 730 day on 24 hrs .

Tender forms (non transferable ) can be obtained during office hours from 09.00 hrs of 25.01.2016 up to 13.00 hrs of 24.02.2016 on any working day from the office of ASC/RPF/NJP and Sr.Divisonal Security Commissioner/RPF/KIR office on payment of requisite cost of tender documents in cash or DD for each of tender form. DD should be in favour of FA & CAO/N.F.Rly Maligaon. Those who desire to get tender paper by post will have to pay additional Rs. 500 towards postal charge which is to be sent by MO .In this regard Railway , will not be responsible for postal delay.

Filled up & sealed tender forms can be sent by registered post/speed post addressed to Sr. Divisional Security Commissioner, RPF/KIR, DRM Building , N.F.Rly, Katihar post & Distt, Katihar – 854105 . Tender can be submitted /dropped in tender box kept in the offices ofASC/RPF/NJP and at the reception centre of DRM/KIR office from 09.00 hrs of 19.02.2016 to 13.00 hrs of 24.02.2016 ( Except Saturday, Sunday & Holidays ) . In case the date of tender opening happens to be holiday or bundh then the tender papers will be opened on the next working day at the same timings and place as above. The tenderer shall be required to deposit earnest money with the tender. Earnest money should be drawn in favour FA & CAO/N.F.Railway/Maligaon. The earnest money should be in cash deposited with Divisional cashier,N.F.Railway; Katihar and New Jalpaiguri or Banker’s cheques/Demand Drafts drawn in favour of FA & CAO/N.F.Railway/Maligaon executed by State Bank of India or any of the Nationalized Bank’s or by a scheduled Bank. The tender not accompanied by the requisite earnest money in the proper form will be summarily rejected. In terms of Railway Board’s L/No. 2013/CE-1/CT/0/45/JV dtd 22.09.2014, earnest money in shape of FDR, TDR, Call deposited , B.G Bond etc , except Bankers cheque or demand draft issued by any Nationalized Bank/Scheduled Bank is not acceptable . The tender form which is not accompanied with the earnest money will summarily by rejected . Railway’s decision in this regard will be final.

Tender documents will also be available on N.F.Railway’s Website railways gov. in during above mentioned period. In case, the tender documents are downloaded from the website. The tender must be accompanied with the requisite cost of the tender documents in separate Demand Draft. Otherwise the tender will be summarily rejected .However , Railway will not be responsible for any delay/difficulties/inaccessibility in downloading tender papers from the website for any reason whatsoever. In case of any discrepancy between the tender documents downloaded from internet and the master copy available in offices as mentioned above, the later shall prevail and will be binding on the tenderers. No claim on this account will be entertained. All other details, terms & conditions are available in the tender form.

  1. Eligibility Criteria for tenderer in respect of partnership firms.

(i)In case the tenderer is a partnership firm (s) , the experience , solvency and turn over shall be in the name and style of the firm only.

(ii)If the tenderer is a partnership firm, all the partners shall be jointly and severally liable for successful completion of the work and no request for change on the certification of the firm shall be entertained .

(iii)During the currency of the contract, no partner of the firm shall be permitted to withdraw from partnership business and in such an event it shall be treated as breach of trust and abandonment of the contract.
