Robyn Stephenson - School District #22 – All buses have access to radio channels. Field trips up Bluenose, Queet Mountain Forest Program, Lumby woodlot.
Ken Stowe –Monty Lake – no updates.
Darcie Annesley – BCTS – complaints about truck traffic onto Highway #6 from Three Forks road, RUP holder responsible for safety up to Highway, BC MoT responsible for safety/ maintenance on highway, issue around coordination of School Buses on road
Wayne Lintott – Truck Loggers Association - no updates
Randy Caryk - WSBC – here to learn
Jim Saunders – WSBC – Three Valley Gap FSR – RUP holder needs to identify hazards, numerous hazards on haul road, licensees need to do pre-assessment before sending workers onto road system.
Kevin Birnie –WSBC–Foliage and dust are at a peak, as well as urgency to get wood out of bush. Lots of dead trees and standing timber as well, especially around pull-outs.
Lyle Knight – FLNRO–Frequency changes, road radio protocol
5. New Items
Item #1 - OH&S Regulation 4.1.1 Snow Avalanche Assessment suspended in its entiretyuntil December 2013
-Regulation not to be enforced at this time
-WSBC still asking the question about the hazard and what is being done about it
Item #2 – WSBC Resource Road Audit Documents and System – Kevin Birnie
- WSBC to start doing safety audits
-Copies of questionnaires is going out to licensees
-Expected to take 15 days of work per booklet for WSBC officer
-End result of completing questionnaire is unknown – information will be compiled into Resource Road report (this is the “hope”)
-Education and consultation
-What process do we want to follow?
-Booklet introduced to group, we will start thinking about how it may be rolled-out locally
-Group advised that FLNRO is developing a position statement Provincially, to be out shortly
-Licensee participation at TSA Road Safety table would have been preferred to have conversation
-Five questionnaires to be done locally
-Group to provide input to Kevin
-Kevin and Randy to talk to all licensees individually

-Reiterate roles and responsibility
Action – Have roles and responsibility conversation at next TSA Road Safety Group meeting.
Item #4 –SSS Start-Up Notifications to Worksafe and Other Licensees
-Follow-up with Dale on process to notify WSBC and other licensees of operations
-Adequate signage and traffic control

Item #5 – RCMP Notification of Accidents on FSRs
Action - Jim to provide contact information of Kamloops RCMP rep

- Difficult to have conversations without major licensees in attendance

1)Licensees to provide list of high risk junctions (in priority order) between FSRs and Highways. Provide anticipated start date and volumes anticipated. Coordination needed to discuss issue between licensee, Highways, ICBC, FLNRO, Worksafe BC.
