Informa Healthcare books are looking for an account manager to join the eBooks team. This role is ideal for a driven sales person looking to grow there career within a world renowned market intelligence company. This is a truly global role selling into academic, corporate and public sector healthcare institutions. It’s a combination of developing new business with the view to build relationships as well as managing some existing accounts. Knowledge of healthcare is not essential. A drive to succeed is!

The Role

This is a newly formed role that will have full responsibility for the HealthcareDigital books portfolio. To begin with the roles will have a focus on new business with a view to develop relations for repeat business. The role will have a focus on selling to academic institutions and to a smaller extent selling into the corporate environments. There will also be a small amount of new business selling into public sector.

The successful account manager will have

  • Ambition and a drive to succeed is paramount
  • Proven track record of business development
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience selling into academic sector is highly advantageous but not essential
