LETTER OF REFERENCE REGARDING DIANA JOHANSSON

Our daughter Diana, now almost 4 years old, have been with day carer Rachel Payne since last spring 2009 and we can truly say that this time has brilliant. When we came to this country Diana did not know a word of English and our main goal as parents was to find her a proper English surrounding where she would meet people fluent in the language. This has been a great time to see and hear that Diana has evolved in English as a language but also to behave in accordance to English tradition. Rachel has been very good at taking the kids to places where they meet other kids and where the surrounding has been good and great fun for children. They have for example been to Brighton and Broad Stairs where Diana absolutely have enjoyed her self. There has always been activities when she´s been at Rachel’s and Jacob and Noah have inspired Diana to play games and to relax in a safe environment. Diana have had lots of gadgets and toys to allow a her play and Rachel’s garden has been an excellent place to be for kids due to it´s privacy and safe layout.

We can honestly recommend Rachel as a day carer because of her sense of humour, her love for nursing children, her way of teaching a child how to behave and how to not but also needs saying that Rachel has been good at showing Diana that a girl does girly things and this has been very important for me as Diana’s mum. Although Rachel has two boys there has always been room for the girls to do things especially for girls.

Also, we have never disagreed on anything with Rachel and there has always been food for everyone and all facilities a home requires to be functional. Since Diana started pre-school Rachel has taken her to and from Goslings on time. We have never felt worried about anything and there has been room for communication at all times since Rachel is always available on phone.

Rachel has not just been a good day carer but also a very good support for us as a family in terms of being new to the country. We´ve had dinners together several times and she will always be a dear friend to us.

The reason for Diana to leave is simply due to plans for moving back to Sweden in the autumn 2010.

Regards /
