(this is what is shown in the search screen) / Reporting into the ICT Change Manager, this role is to ensure effective management of change requests from the point of initiation through to completion.Changes analysts assist in prioritising, assessing, scheduling, resourcing, testing and implementing changes to ensure maximum benefit with minimal disruption to business operations.
Detailed Description /
- Ensure RFCs meet agreed standards and follow defined processes.
- Plan, prioritise, schedule and assign RFCs to best suit the demands of business and IT operations.
- Understand and advise the impact of proposed changes
- Monitor the status of RFCs and take appropriate follow up action where necessary to progress to the benefit of SLC
- Monitor and report on the quality of change delivered to the business.
- Monitor and report on change schedules to ensure ICT can meet demands efficiently and effectively.
- Provide regular and relevant updates to all stakeholders.
- Close liaison with Incident & Problem Management.
- Participate in the on call rota for out of hours scheduled changes/incidents(and weekend working when applicable).
Job Requirements /
- ITIL Qualified.
- Change Management experience.
- Experience of technical administration.
- Skilled in the management of formal processes and procedures.
- Ability to manage large scale activities, tasks and resource pools.
- Ability to work under extreme pressure.
- Good communicator/active listener; ability to work with all levels of an organisation (administrator to director) tailoring communications as required.
- Agile Development experience

- Broad IT knowledge; will be working with AIX, Linux, Wintel, VMWare, Red Hat, Cisco, F5, Checkpoint, Oracle, Java, Tomcat amongst many others.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
Additional Details / Days: <Monday to Friday>Hours: <9am – 5.30pm>
Participation in the on call rota for out of hours change management is required.
