PRODUCT SAFETY RECALL – BABY STROLLER
Dear Customer
You are receiving this email because you purchased a baby stroller labelled as either “Multifunctional Luxury Baby Stroller8EC546(4008)” or “Online Dealz 4 Wheel Pram, CTN 47-100, 8EC546” from Online Dealz Pty Ltd (Online Dealz).
Testing has indicated that this product did not comply with the mandatory Australian safety standard for prams and strollers. This resulted in a range of hazards to children in the stroller, including falling and entrapment hazards. Please refer to the attachment to this email for further information.
You should stop using the stroller immediately.Please contact us immediately to arrange to return the stroller to our warehouse for immediate disposal, in exchange for a full refund and reimbursementof the cost of returning the stroller to our warehouse.Our contact details are at the end of this letter.
If you have disposed of, re-gifted, or sold the stroller, please also contact us as soon as possible, with further details of the present users of the stroller, so we may contact them.
Why is a mandatory standard in place for prams and strollers?
The mandatory safety standard for prams and strollers ensures that prams and strollers sold in Australia have certain safety features to prevent injury to children, including falls, strangulation, suffocation or entrapment. Non-compliant products pose hazards that may cause injury to children.

STROLLER – HAZARDS
The stroller failed to meet the mandatory standard in the following ways:
Failure / HazardThe waist straps are not effectively secured, and displacement of the seating surface was observed when the waist straps were pulled / Falling hazard
The gap between the reclining surface and the handle when in certain positions is less than 250mm– see picture below:
/ Entrapment hazard to children’s heads.
The gap between the handle and the stroller seat is obstructed by the canopy support bar when it is in the second and third lowest positions – see picture below:

The following information is not marked in accordance with the requirements of the mandatory standard:
- Registered trade name and address in Australia or New Zealand of either the manufacturer, importer or other supplier
- Model name or number
The warning notice present on the frame was not permanently marked. / The warning notice may rub off, resulting in the safety warnings not being adequately identified to consumers.
