TO THE PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF OUR SHOW CHOIR MEMBERS:
We are very proud of the growth that our Show Choir has exhibited this spring. The students have developed a renewed sense of professionalism and commitment. They have shown a willingness to be pushed – to achieve at a higher level – and so our rehearsals have become increasingly more effective. When we watch the students perform, the results of their hard work are evident. We believe that the Show Choir is now competition ready. For this reason, we would like to take the Show Choir to compete at Dorney Park in Allentown, PA on Saturday, May 14, 2016.
The cost of this trip is estimated at $140 per student. Please keep in mind that the trip can be paid for with money acquired through fundraisers, as well as through personal cash deposits. Your child’s current account balance has been included on the back of this letter. Payment in full is due by Friday, April 29, 2016. Please note that if you check the “yes” portion of the permission slip below, and – at some point later on – it is decided that your child will not attend the trip, cancellations fees may apply.
If you are interested in chaperoning this trip (the cost is $115 per adult), please check the appropriate box on the slip below and attend our scheduled parent meeting on Thursday, April 21 at 7:30pm in the chorus room. A detailed information booklet containing the trip itinerary, emergency phone numbers, permission slips, medical forms, etc. will be distributed to chaperones at that meeting.
Please complete the bottom portion of this letter and return it to Miss Scott before Friday, April 8, 2016.
