Some post-christmas humour; courtesy of Tim Jeanes:

A nameless club member was feeling poorly due to Christmas excesses, so made a visit to hisdoctor.Doc says "Now Geoff, what have you been up to?”Geoff replies "Well, I've been hacking through gorse, pushing through bracken, thrashing in water, over rocks and striking across the scrub”. Doc says "That’s good, well done; you’re obviously into fell walking!" "Oh no" came the reply“It's just that I’m not very good at golf!”

Another club member is waiting to hear if he might be just a bit famous. At Christmas he received a jigsaw as one of his presents. He completed the puzzle in just 10 daysand has applied to the Guinness Book of Records, because on the box it said‘3 to 5 years’.
