MATH

This week we will review Chapter 4 Statistics: Data and Graphs. We will complete the Chapter Review throughout the week and take our test on Thursday. I urge you to visit the Mhschool Website to help review with your student over the Holiday Break.

LANGUAGE ARTS

Our new vocabulary words for next week will be hazardous, ventriloquist, ingenious and knickknack.

SOCIAL STUDIES

Walk Through California was today…what a wonderful California History production. Have your student tell you 4-5 things that they learned about California. Make sure they also tell you about their favorite part too!

This week we will use our completed Native American Matrix to create a summary on our favorite Tribes by Region, as well as, complete an art piece to go with it!

Happy Thanksgiving Holiday! I spent the evening last night making cookies for the students. Today in class I thanked each and every one of the students and passed out cookies to warm their tummies! When I told them that they each were getting two cookies, I was delighted to hear them call out, “You made 60 cookies last night!” It brought a smile to my face and made me even more thankful for each and everyone of them!

The students are working hard, being patient with one another and they’re always sharing their warm, kind hearts! I truly am thankful for my 30 kids! This has been a fabulous first trimester in 4th grade and I feel the students and I are really falling into place with our behavior and academics, I am so pleased.

I wish everyone a warm, safe and enjoyable holiday and I look forward to seeing you on the 30th!
