INVOCATION: Congregation

Creator and Eternal God, you have graciously raised up priests, prophets, pastors and evangelists to proclaim your truth over the falsehood in this world. We acknowledge with deep regret the misrepresentations of some who claim be to your servants. Merciful God, if you would ever change our world, you will need to forgive and change us. Revive and make us a people of your own!A people equipped not merely for work, but good work; a people prepared not merely for life, but a faithful life; a people united not merely in spirit, but in a gracious spirit; and a people inspired not merely by love, but an unconditional and unchangeable love. Merciful God, send us your Spirit and change us for the sake of Your Son, our Savior and Friend, who models what it means to be your child, even Jesus Christ. Amen!
