Throttle Housing Assembly

At first start with sorting all the parts that came in the package. You can divide it in two groups:

-parts for the levers

-parts for the housing

Pick now the Housing parts and divide those as well in three groups, a left, a centre and a right group. Almost all parts are labelled in the following style: A320_Housing#1_1

The “#1” stand for the left half of the housing and “_1” is part 1. This means, the part above is the first part of the left half housing. For the left group, you should have the following parts:

-A320_Housing # 1_1(6mm)

-A320_Housing # 1_2(6mm)

-A320_Housing # 1_3 down (6mm)

-A320_Housing # 1_3 up(3mm)

-A320_Housing # 1_4 down (3mm)

-A320_Housing # 1_4 up (NOVA part)

The “up-parts” are not labelled. You can see all the parts of the left group on the following two pictures:

The part “A320_Housing#1_1” is at the most outside position, the next parts follow in sequence.

You have the choice whether to glue the parts or only use threaded rods and nuts.

You need M3-nuts and 3mm-threaded rod. Cut now the threaded rod so that the length is just the thickness of the left housing group plus two nuts (one on each side). So if you have put those parts together, it’ll look like this:

Now it’s time to sort the parts of the centre group.

- A320_Housing # 1_5down(3mm)

- A320_Housing # 1_5up(NOVA part)

- A320_Housing # 1_6down(6mm)

- A320_Housing # 1_6up(3mm)

- A320_Housing # 1&2(middle)(3mm)

- A320_Housing # 2_6down(6mm)

- A320_Housing # 2_6up(3mm)

- A320_Housing # 2_5down(3mm)

- A320_Housing # 2_5up(NOVA part)

It’s just the same than with the left group… the “up-parts” are as well not labelled (guess what… it’s the same with the right group).

Start now with the A320_Housing # 1&2(midlle)-part. Take now the #1_6-parts and mount them on the left side of the middle plate. Continue now with the #1_5-parts and attach them as well on the left side… Repeat this for the #2_5 and #2_6-parts on the right side of the middle plate.

The last group you have to assemble is the right group. It’s exactly the same than the left group.

Now you need the two NOVA-Tracks which need to be set between the left and centre as well as between the right and the centre parts. The tracks look like this:

As you see on the picture above you need to take care that the inside marked side shows towards the centre group. If you put all five parts together and fix them with six threaded rods and nuts it’ll look like this:

The only thing that is still missing is the main axis for the levers. I used 12mm threaded rod with two nuts and two lock rings.

So here you see my final result of the housing:
