LACF Now Accepting Nominations for 49th Community Service Award
Submissions due by September 21st
Los Altos Community Foundation (LACF) is now accepting nominations for the 49th Community Service Award (CSA).
The CSA award honors an outstanding citizen each year for volunteer activities which enhance the quality, spirit and character of our community. Considerations include:
- Many years of community service
- Unique contribution for which the awardee is clearly central
- The awardee has helped multiple organizations
Originated in 1964 by the Los Altos Board of Realtors, the Community Service Award is the oldest volunteer service award for the Los Altos community. When the Los Altos Board of Realtors merged with the Silicon Valley Association, LACF accepted the responsibility of continuing the award tradition.
The winner of this year’s Community Service Award will be honored at Los Altos Community Foundation’s Annual Brunch on October 26th, to be held at the Los Altos Golf & Country Club.
