The possibility of scientific communication through Face book from viewpoint of agricultural researchers

Abstract
The main objectives of the research is identifying the possibility of scientific communications from the viewpoint of agricultural respondents and the forms of scientific communication through it , and identifying respondents ' forms of participation on subjects presented on face book , and how they get benefits from it . Identifying the problems facing them, and finally recognition their suggestions to improve scientific communications through face book .
The research included 230 members participating in the page of the Agricultural extension and rural development research institute group on facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/191112144260915
The data were collected during the period from 1/07/2013 to 30/10/2113
Through a questionnaire that was posted on the institute page, and through sending the same questionnaire in a message or in an e-mail .
The most important results of the research could be summarized as follow:
- More than three quarters of the respondents (73.3 %) , pointed out that they can communicate scientifically through the facebook
- The most important way of communications according to most of the respondents, is publishing the summaries of researches and studies online
- Writing a comment, or posting a suggestion is the most important way of participation according to most respondents (70.1 % of them)
- 78.8 % of the respondents mentioned that the most benefits they get from their participation are that they are presented to new sources of information.
- The most important problem facing the respondents is the lake of personal privacy according to 62 % of them.
- The most suggestions presented by most of respondents are to make training courses for the social networks and how they can benefit from them.
