Novice Pleasure Ride

0930hrs – 1400hrs
At: Hill Farm, Hethel, Norwich. Norfolk NR14 8FT
Parking for the ride will be on the Wymondham Road, Hethel. NR14 8FT (which will be signposted)
The route is around our off road riding and you can choose eitherto ride the 3, 4 or 5 mile route.
This ride is aimed at beginners, novice riders or horses so only Walk & Trot allowed.
0930 – 1030hrs - Ride around the route at your own leisure
1030hrs Group 1 : Join a group to ride with – limited spaces available
1100-1200hrs – Ride at your own leisure
1200hrs Group 2 : Join a group to ride with – limited spaces available
1230hrs – 1400hrs – Ride at your own leisure.
Entry Fee: £10 per horse & rider – entries close Wednesday 17th May 2017. Late entry available on the day at £12 per horse & rider. LIMTED SPACES AVAILABLE IN GROUP 1 & 2.
*Children under 14 by must be accompanied by an adult either mounted or dismounted*
*All horses must keep to walk & trot pace only & DO NOT overtake without the person in front being fully aware & in agreement*

Conditions of Entry
1.Riders must report to the Secretary on arrival to check in and also on completion of the ride to collect their rosette.
2.The Organisers, helpers & landowners do not accept liability for accidents, damage, injury or illness arising out of this ride to horses, riders, spectators or any other persons. All riders & persons attending do so at their own risk. By signing the entry form you accept these terms & conditions.
3.All entrants must have a 3rd party insurance.
4.All entrants shall indemnify the organisers against any legal action from any accidents or incidents.
5.Riders / Owners are responsible for any vet, medical or other incurs whether requested directly or via organisers.
6.The ride starts & finishes at the same point, and the route will be marked.
7.When mounted, all riders MUST wear a riding hat to the current BSEN1384 or PAS015 or better standard. High Vis is recommended.
8.Riders are expected to show consideration to other riders on the route. The organisers reserve the right to ask any rider to leave the course.
9.There will not be a paramedic, vet or farrier present on the day.
10.All Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
11.All rides must keep to the marked course only.
12.Please ensure you do not muck out your horsebox into the lorry park. Please take all litter home.
13.Please do not leave horses tied up outside vehicles unattended.
