LafayetteCounty 4-H Club Seals of Achievement

CLUB NAME

Clubs wishing to apply for a Seal of Achievement to be attached to their Club Charter should submit the following application along with their application for Outstanding Club. Seals of Achievement will be awarded at the Recognition Banquet.

BRONZE SEAL

1)Recruit and mentor new members and their families

2)Have necessary adult club, project and activity leaders

3)Hold four or more club meetings. Include recreation, education, and business.

4)Have at least one project group with a minimum of six hours of hands-on learning.

5)Have enrollment records on file in the ExtensionCenter

6)Plan, implement and evaluate a community service project.

SILVER SEAL

1)Recruit and mentor new members and their families

2)Have necessary officers – President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Reporter

3)Have necessary adult club, project and activity leaders

4)Hold eight or more club meetings. Include recreation, education, and business.

5)Hold at least one hands-on project with a minimum of six hours of hands-on learning.

6)A planned program (copy on file in the ExtensionCenter) that includes at least:

-One demonstration, exhibition or judging experience

-AND one health or safety program

-AND one planned recreation activity

-AND one community service project

7)Leaders participate in Leader’s Coffee, 4-H Council meetings and leader trainings

8)Achieve two or more goals in the club’s planned program

9)Have enrollment records on file in the ExtensionCenter

10)Sixty-five percent or more of members complete at least one project

GOLD SEAL

1)Recruit and mentor new members and their families

2)Have necessary officers – President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Reporter

3)Have necessary adult club, project and activity leaders

4)Hold ten or more club meetings. Include recreation, education, and business.

5)Hold at least one project group with a minimum of six hours of hands-on learning.

6)A planned program (copy on file in the ExtensionCenter) that includes at least:

-One demonstration, exhibition or judging experience

-AND one health or safety program

-AND one planned recreation activity

-AND one community service project
