TO-DO LIST FOR UNDERGRADUATE FRESHERS

Do right now if you haven’t already:

□ Overseas students (non EU/EEA nationals):make sure your visa application is in hand.

□ Home/EU students: apply to your funding body regardless of whether you need financial

assistance (otherwise you will be charged the College Fee).

□ Check you have had the right vaccinations against mumps and meningitis, and organise if

not.

Once you’ve got over the excitement of your exam results:

□ Complete, sign and return the checklist, contracts, JCR Record Form, GP Registration

Form and Health Questionnaire with your deposit and 2 passport photographs (by 2nd

September).

□ Read through all the information for Freshers on Lincoln’s website.

□ Make a start on your vacation reading/exercises. There won’t be time to do it in Freshers’

Week, and the more you do now the better prepared you will be when term starts.

□ Overseas students: register for ‘Meet and Greet’ and theUniversity orientation session, and

look into opening a UK bank account.

After 2nd September:

□ Complete the first part of your registration online through Student Self Service using the

Oxford Single Sign-on account details that will be emailed to you (N.B. you must have

returned your University Card Form for this to work), and activate your email account.

One week to go:

□ Overseas students: check that your passport and visa are in order, and you know exactly

where they are, as well as acceptance letters from the College proof of financialsupport.

□ Home/EU students: check that your funding paperwork is in order, and you know exactly

where it is.

□ Make sure that you have correct sub-fusc clothing, and decide on your outfit for the bop!

□ If your are bringing your own computer check that it has up to date anti-virus software or

you will not be able to log in to the College network.
