DRESS POLICY

1.0  PURPOSE

To establish a clear framework of guidelines, norms and standards that will guide and give directions, to the employees about an appropriate dress code that compliments the professional image of American Epay Services Pvt. Ltd.

2.0  SCOPE

The policy is applicable to all employee of American Epay, employed by , or contracted on behalf of American Epay to reflect an efficient ,orderly and professionally operated organization.

3.0  Objective:

• To present a professional and well-groomed appearance at the workplace.

• To promote a positive working environment and limit distractions caused by outrageous, provocative or inappropriate dress.

• Employees at all levels and job positions are representatives of the organization and therefore their dress, grooming personal hygiene affect both the public’s impression of the business and internal morale.

4.0 Policy Details:

Our dress standards are designed to reflect a casual, yet professional atmosphere within our organization.

Dress Code Guidelines

Employees are expected to be neat, clean, well-groomed and to smell good.

Ø  Monday to Wednesday : Formal

Ø  Thursday to Sunday : Casual

For Men

·  Trousers made of cotton, synthetic material, wool pants, flannel pants are acceptable and Shirts should be formal, well ironed and clean (from Monday to Wednesday.)

·  Jeans, Corduroys and T-shirt are acceptable but with no political messages or foul, offensive and derogatory words/ or crude language (from Thursday to Sunday.)

·  Hair should be of short or moderate length. They should be clean and conservatively styled. Men should be clean shaved. Neat moustaches and French beards are acceptable. Sikh men should wear turbans and avoid “patkas”.

For Women

·  Saris, salwar kameez, Kurti’s, pant suits, trousers , shirts .(From Monday to Wednesday)

·  Jeans, t-shirt , long skirts are acceptable and formal skirts should be knee length and not draw attention to legs. (From Thursday to Sunday)

·  Dress shoes, belles, sneakers and sandals with moderate heels are preferred.

·  Hair should be clean and neatly done.

4.0  Inappropriate Attire:

In order to maintain a professional workplace, certain clothing will be considered inappropriate at American Epay Services Pvt.Ltd. :

·  Clothes with inappropriate messages/slogans/symbols/images that are offensive, derogatory, profane or prejudiced are not permitted.

·  Low front tops, halter tops, bare midriffs.

·  Athletic wear, e.g. gym or sweat pants, leggings, jogging outfits, shorts, spandex, worn during work hours.

·  Torn, dirty or frayed or ripped clothing.

·  Garments which are revealing see through, lace or spaghetti straps.

·  Excessively tight fitting or oversized (baggy) garments.

·  Tank tops, spaghettis, tops with bare shoulders and other revealing clothing.

·  Dress and Skirts length shorter than knee length and /or tight skirts.

·  Avoid strong smelling hair oils and loud hair accessories.

·  Loud make up.

·  House slippers/chappals/floaters/flip-flops or bedroom slippers.

·  Hats and caps are not appropriate in the office.

·  No loud bangles, large earrings and thick chains.

·  Other similar items of casual attire that do not present a business like appearance.

5.0 Exception:

At its discretion, on special occasions or for special events, management may allow employees to dress in a more casual fashion than is normally required. On these occasions, employees are still expected to present a neat appearance and are not permitted to wear ripped or disheveled clothing, or similarly inappropriate clothing.

6.0 Compliance:

Each month an employee (From day team and night team respectively) will be recognized as “The Best Dressed” with a monetary reward of Rs. 1500.

7.0 Non-Compliance:

We are confident that every employee will use their best judgment when maintaining appropriate attire and appearance and thus reserves the right to determine appropriateness.

When not found appropriately dressed, the employee will be fined Rs. 200 per such occasion.

No dress code can cover all contingencies, so employees must exert a certain amount of judgment in their choice of clothing to wear for work.

9.0 Disclaimer:

American Epay Services Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right in its absolute discretion to abolish the Policy at any time or to alter the terms and conditions. Such discretion may be exercised any time before, during, and after the Policy year is completed.
