Hanover Area Human Resource AssociationAnnounces Officers for 2017

Julia Groft, President: As Vice President of Manpower of York and Lancaster Counties, Julia Groft drives her teams to help both organizations and job seekers succeed. She began her career in Staffing in 2005 as a recruiter. In 2011 Julia accepted a leadership role with Manpower, where she found her niche in an organization which shares her values- People, Knowledge, and Innovation. She loves to build teams who share her enthusiasm for being an instrumental part in candidates’ career journeys and helping clients reach their hiring goals.
Julia and her husband Andrew are the proud parents to four children. Julia is an active community volunteer leader and enjoys supporting workforce development and mentorship initiatives. In her spare time, Julia enjoys horseback riding and camping at Bethany Beach.
Kim Kerrigan, Vice President, joined HAHRA in 2001 and has held many roles over the years. She served as Chairperson on Membership Committee, volunteers on the Chapter Certification Committee and currently serves as Chairperson on Professional Development Committee. Kim is an advocate for continuing education and is a volunteer instructor for the Hanover Area Management Association and has served as their Education Chairperson. Kim has held HR Management positions for over fifteen years and is currently the Vice President, Human Resources Manufacturing at Sheridan. In addition to her Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado Technical University in Business Administration, and her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Post University, Kim holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications. Kim is originally from the Philadelphia area and now resides in the York area since 1999 with her husband. In her spare time, Kim enjoys music, reading, outdoor sports, and spending time with her family.
Sara Knaub, Treasurer: Sara Knaub, PHR, SHRM-CP, graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She began her Human Resources career at Rest Haven – York, where she was the HR Assistant. In November 2008, Sara began her career at Utz Quality Foods, LLC in the role of HR Generalist where her focus was recruiting and staffing. Sara began taking on additional responsibilities and was promoted to the HR Business Partner for the Sales Operations team. In her most recent role, Sara was promoted to the position of Program and Curriculum Development Manager where she has taken on additional responsibilities of training and development, as well as, business transformation. Sara has been a member of the Hanover Area Human Resource Association since 2008 and has been serving in a volunteer role since 2010. In 2013, Sara achieved her Professional in Human Resources certification. In 2015, Sara earned her SHRM-CP. Sara resides in Hanover. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Jenn Kremenik, Secretary joined HAHRA in 2005 after graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor's in Management with a concentration in Human Resources. She began her career at York International. Shortly after that they were acquired and she left to join Manpower where she worked as a Staffing Specialist for 5 years. She left there to go to Flowserve Corporation as a Senior HR Representative where she has worked for the last 5 years. In 2010, Jenn obtained her Professional in Human Resources certification. She has been an active member of HAHRA over the years. She is currently Co-Chair of the Membership Committee. Jenn resides in McSherrystown with her husband and two sons.
