It’s time to get ready for SRD 2011
SRD THEME: WILD THING………. you make my heart sing. We are using wild animals in the theme. If you want to donate anything please contact Reatha Conte Coordinator 702-368-4035 or call your Area Captain Michelle at 775-746-9284 or Area Captain Darla McCarver at 702-302-1554.
Committee’s are being formed right now to call the SRD Chairperson Marie Baumgartner please call 702-432-6822.
The chapters have been sent a SRD registration packet. Your chapter will be making copies of all the information for you. Packets were due March 1st. If you have not sent in your registration packet you are late. Please call and let me know your chapter if your chapter is still planning on attending. Anyone not registered will not be allowed to attend any function. No sharing meals, no boxes to go. You must have paid for the registration fee and any meals to attend a meal. No sneaking into the functions. You will be given a meal ticket if you purchased a meal. And you will receive a sticker to attach to your name badge to show you registered and have paid. We will have a hostess or host posted at all times checking for the appropriate sticker and tickets. Please show courtesy to them.
The KOPS need to register for the Circle of Light, Graduation, and any recognition like past State Royalty. If you forgot to send this information they will not be included in the program. Please don’t forget to do this ASAP if you forgot.

Please keep this fun, interesting, and not to long. We will be doing a couple in the morning and the rest that evening. We also will be hearing from First Vice President and Regional Director Nancy Marasco in the morning. During Lunch we will hear from President Barb Cady. And also during the Friday evening session we will hear from Barb Cady.
Some chapters turned in they would be in the Wild Thing Hat parade but put 1 as the number participating. It would be nice to know the count of how many if it is more than 1.
If you signed up for the Wedding Dress Sunday dress parade you will need to send in a copy of your before picture you will be dressed up in a very nice after outfit will need to see your before outfit on you in a picture. Please mail a nice copy and e-mail a copy. This needs to be done ASAP to participate. . We are not using a before outfit. The picture will be shown on the above monitors and you will be in your wedding dress-Sunday best outfit. Remember you must have lost 30 or more pounds to be included.

VERY IMPORTANT we are having the LEADER 2010 and Royalty parade Friday AM. MUST BE IN APPROPRIATE DRESS ON STAGE TO BE INTRODUCED. Check registration no shorts, no pants for women. This is the time to wear your appropriate dress or palazzo pants or for men suit, dress pants and dress shirt or suit. If you come on stage in pants we will have a Hawaiian wrap available for you to cover up with.
If your chapter is not attending remember to mail or drop off the basket, centerpiece or send in the gift card or check to cover your chapter donations.

Room rates are 44.98 regular weekend rates are 49.98 up to 4 in a room same rate.
We will be having two visitors from Headquarters, Barb Cady President and First Vice President – Regional Director Nancy Marasco.
Thank you for marking your registration packets correctly. A “K “next to any KOPS registering for SRD. Put the BIG K first then their name on page 4. This helps us identify them easier. Also include KOPS information on page 7.
Everyone is invited to the Friday luncheon. We will be honoring the KOPS in black at this time. We will also have a chance to meet and greet our TOPS President and Vice President.
Must be registered to attend any event and purchase a meal ticket to attend any banquet. No admittance without the required registration sticker. No one will be allowed to attend without required sticker and ticket.
You will receive a door prize ticket in your program. You must put your name on the ticket and deposit in the promotions room. Extra tickets are available with a purchase of $20.00 in the promotions room.
Qualifying purchase includes:
$20.00 basket
$20.00 raffle for free ride
$20.00 50/50 tickets
$20.00 in promotional items.
Volunteers working on stage or in the promotions room will receive 1 extra ticket each day.
Remember if you forgot to send in your registration please call ASAP you are very late but we want to include everyone who is coming. If you forgot to sign up for an event or purchase a T-shirt, SRD pins, or meals this is the time to do it. I also sent a promotional pin that wills b e available from Nancy if you want to preorder please send in the copy with your chapter check.
We have allot of winner this year I can’t wait to surprise everyone.
IRD is in Milwaukee in July we raise money at SRD to help defray the cost of our international winners and State Royalty to attend. Please be generous in your donations to NEVADA SRD if your chapter is not attending.
