JUNIOR CLUB FUND RAISER (CMP)

PROCEEDS FROM THIS MATCH WILL GO TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE WINNEQUAH JUNIOR SHOOTING PROGRAM.

DATE: Saturday, April 4, 2015 – registration: 8:00 am; class & squadding: 8:30 am; firing time: 9:00 a.m.

A short instructional school will be held on the fundamentals of high power rifle shooting at the 200 yard line.

LOCATION: Winnequah Gun Club is approximately three miles north of Lodi, WI. Take I-90/94 West to Exit 115; turn right onto County Road CS (0.2 mile); turn left at County Road J (1.1 mile); turn right at County Road J at the T in the road (3.3 mile). Look for Winnequah Gun Club sign and Indoor Range on your left. Go through the gate and past the building. Follow the new road to the High Power Rifle Stat Office. The club address is: W10219 Larson Dr, Lodi WI 53555. More information is on the club web site.

RULES: Current NRA High Power Rifle Classification rules will apply. Empty chamber indicators (Rule 3.21) will be available at the range and must be used by all competitors.

SAFETY: Bolts cannot be closed until the rifle is shouldered and pointed towards the target.

ELIGIBILITY: This match is open to all club members and guests.

EQUIPMENT: Some shooting equipment will be available on a first come first serve basis as needed. This includes an M1 Garand, shooting coats, gloves and ear protection. Ear protection is a MUST while firing is in progress. Sharing of equipment will be done if possible. If you need equipment, please contact Scott Liebetrau, email: or phone at 608-212-0568. COURSE OF FIRE: The NRA High Power Rifle scoring system will be used in slow fire matches (Rule 14.18(a) (Rule 14.18(b) for rapid fire. Sample cards will be given at registration.

Match 1: 200 yds standing, 2 sighting shots, 10 shots for record - 12 minutes

Match 2: 200 yds standing to sitting, 2 sighting shots, one 10 shot string sustained fire in 60 seconds

Match 3: 300 yds standing to prone, 2 sighting shots, one 10 shot string sustained fire in 70 seconds

Match 4: 600 yds prone, 2 sighting shots, 20 shots for record - 22 minutes

PIT SERVICE: Competitors will score and pull targets.

COACHING: A coach will be provided at each firing point to assist competitors with the shooting basics.

AWARDS: Honorable mention to Match Winner. Other awards given to 1st Unclassified, 2nd Unclassified, 1st Junior and 1st Unclassified Junior.
