Paper Sizes:

Cut 1 – 4 ½ x 11 CS base in Poppy Parade scored in half

Cut 1 – 4 x 5 ¼ piece in Very Vanilla CS

Cut 1 – 1 ½ x 8 ½ piece in Designer Series Paper

Cut 1 – medium oval in Very Vanilla using the Ovals die

Cut 1 – ½ x 4 piece of Soft Suede

  1. Ink up an uninked standard cartridge using Soft Suede ink refill. Insert the cartridge into the wheel handle and then the Every Egg wheel. Roll along the 4” side at the bottom of the 4 x 5 ¼ Very Vanilla CS piece.
  2. Using the Simply Scored scoring tool, score every ¾ and 1” mark along the length of your Designer Series paper strip. (example: ¾, 1, 1 ¾, 2, 2 ¾, 3, etc.) With a paper cutter, cut the Designer Series Paper in half lengthwise at 5/8”. This will leave you with one piece 5/8” and one piece 7/8”. Fold mountain and valley folds to form pleats in both pieces making sure they match.
  3. If you want the pleated piece to lay flat apply sticky strip down the center of the backside of the pleat. If you want one edge to curl up, apply the sticky strip to one side. Use a bone folder to curl edge.
  4. Punch the ½ x 4” piece of Soft Suede using the Scallop Dotted Ribbon Border punch. Attach pleated paper to card front above the egg wheel images. Put the wider paper down first with the narrower, 5/8” piece on top. BEFORE securing the top pleated paper slip the punched scallop dotted ribbon border piece behind it so as to just have the top scallops peeking out.
  5. Stamp the Happy Easter everybunny image in Poppy Parade above the pleated paper on the right.
  6. Emboss the bunny image on the Very Vanilla oval piece by first inking it up with VersaMark ink and then Soft Suede before stamping the image. Sprinkle with Clear embossing powder and heat set. Color using the aqua painter and Pool Party and Soft Suede ink. Poppy Parade marker highlights the scarf. Attach oval to card front using dimensionals.
  7. Punch out the small 4-petal flower from the Itty Bitty Punch pack and Poppy Parade CS. Use a stylus to distress the CS. If desired, distress to the point the paper fibers pull apart to reveal the soft “suede” look inside. Attach flower to card and finish with a basic pearl in the center.
