Alcoa High School
Parental Involvement Plan
2015-2016 School Year
In an effort to accomplish our vision of Graduating Competitive Students, Alcoa High School will strive to build relationships while providing relevant instruction with rigorous expectations. Parental involvement is a key component in this vision, and we welcome parents and community in our quest to make this vision a reality. AHS offers the following opportunities for involvement in each of the six standards.
Standard 1: Welcoming all families into the school community—Families are active participants in the life of the school, and feel welcomed, valued, and connected to each other, to school staff, and to what students are learning and doing in class and school.
